Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. It was released on March 5, 2013, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. A sequel, Tomb Raider (2018), was released on March 16, 2018.In Tomb Raider, the player assumes the role of Lara Croft, a young woman who is hired by a group of adventurers to find a lost tomb on a remote island. The game is played from a third-person perspective and requires the player to use their environment to their advantage, including climbing, swimming, and using ropes to traverse the game's environments. Tomb Raider also features a stealth system that allows the player to avoid enemies or take them down silently.
